River View Local Schools offers three different options for preschool education in the district:

 

Early Childhood Education (Income Based Eligibility)

 

The purpose of Early Childhood Education preschool classes is to offer a quality preschool setting for children whose family income falls below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines and are four years old by August 1 of the current year.

Special Education Preschool

 

River View's Special Education Preschool offers preschool services and therapies to students who 3 - 5 years old and have a documented disability.

 

If you suspect your child might have a disability you may request assistance through the

Office of Special Programs at 740-824-3523.

Typical Preschool    

 

Typical preschool students are between three and five years old and, do not meet the eligibility requirements for the Early Childhood Preschool or the Special Education Preschool.  Typical preschool students are educated in the same classrooms as our special education preschool students, to serve as positive peer models.
